Flightbeam Manager

Featured Replies

Doing a clean install and downloaded my 3 Flightbeam airports. I had earlier downloaded the FBM and it was on my desktop. When I installed the first airport the installation program started FBM and it showed the airport I installed at the top. The next 2 airports didn't show up in FBM but seemed to install ok. I did a restart thinking they'd show up but I don't know if they did because I can't start FBM because it can't find the sceneries. I've tried moving FBM from the desktop to the root directory of P3D and also the root directory of the drive P3D is on, but no joy.

FBM has to be running while the simulator is running so that it knows the scenery is actually mine (?!?!)). I can't uninstall then reinstall the airports because there are no entries in Add Remove Programs. And I can't just install over the airports because Flightbeam  "strongly recommends" uninstalling an airport before installing it again. So around in circles on Sunday night...

Hi

Have you tried checking in the Flightbeam directory in your P3D install location/folder?

Recently installed P3Dv5 as well and I recall after adding each of the FB airports, post installation, the FB Manager would run automatically for you to configure some of its settings.

Hope this helps

Thx for the info and it was a help. The FB website says to install the FBM in the "root folder of your simulator". But I looked in the FB directory and it's there and works fine. I'm all good, thx.
