Pilot2atc cereproc voices

Featured Replies

A few weeks ago I purchaged a  cereproc voice Adam to check it out in Pilot2atc. I noticed that the voice speed that I had set to number 2 in  P2A  sound normal at first when starting the flight.

I had Adam set to ground controller for taxi clearemce. After touch down at the same airport the groundcontroller Adam sound very slow and it takes the controller at least six to seven seconds to respond after pushing the PTT button.

Does anyone els encounter this weird behaviour with cereproc voices, somehow it doesn't stick to the voice speed set in pilot2atc that will work.only once.

Is there a workaround to solve this. I've planned to buy more voices in future, how about IVONA voices in pilot2atc?, do they have similar effects or can you use these voices without any problem.?

Hope someone can help me with this issue.

Have a nice flight, but more important many safe landings.

You have to set the voice speed for each controller, if using the individual controllers to set voices.  This is so a single voice can sound slightly different for each controller it is set to.

With random voices, you can add voices with different names, using the same underlying installed voice like Adam, with different speeds to make them sound different.

Hello Dave,

Thanks, as usual a quick responce

I don.t understand exactly what you mean,  I've set the default windows desktop voices

like David, Zira, Helen, and Hazel to different controllers with their voice speed set to number 2

Adam is the only voice from Cereproc in this case set to ground controller, also with speed number 2. I don;t use random voices yet.   The problem is, that at first contact, Adam sounds normal, the second time very slow. and it will stay that way. untill  I launch P2A again.  I've used Adam  as a co-pilot also, only the first time i use the sayit button it sounds and responce normal the second time very slow and responce time is longer also.

I don't use any of these voices in another program,

Is it a Cereproc problem, or can't P2A handle these cerevoices?.

I'll perform some more test to get more info.

I'll come back to you about this subject.

regards,

Have a nice flight and many more good landings

Hello Dave,

I've made a few short flights with your recommandations only using David as a co-pilot,  Adam as ground controller and  the rest Zira.

All the voices from top to bottom set to voice speed number 2. Now Adam sounds normal all the time, so it did the trick.

Don't know if multiple cerevoices will cause issues but for now it works fine,

In future i'll try random cerevoices with Microsoft voices. and see what that will bring us.

I let you know. for now I thank you for the nice program you've made.

Lets make things better

regards

Frans
