December 20, 20205 yr Can anyone help? When I load my Malaga scenery with P3Dv5, I aircraft is buried in the taxiway below ground level with the fuselage semi-exposed above ground. Many thanks
December 20, 20205 yr Sounds like an elevation problem. Usually this hints at there being duplicate AFCAD or missing or wrong airport elevation stub, and the sim is loading the wrong one. The best way to find out if this is the case, is to use Little NavMap, which allows you to scan the scenery library and it will display any files influencing airport parameters, such as aforementioned files. You can then easily get rid of the offending ones. December 20, 20205 yr Hey Ben -- how do you do the display of files? I do know how to see what bgls are being loaded for a particular location. Is this what you mean? Happy Holidays! P. Happy Holidays! P. I’m not at my computer right now but I believe there is a Scenery menu that among other things allow you to switch between the scenery libraries that are being used to display information on the map. There’s an option there to “load scenery library”, and once it completes that, you can click, on the map, on the airport with issues and in the airport information box (for me this is on the lower left of the LNM’s interface) I will then display the bgl files that are used to generate that airport information. If there are multiple arcade or elevation files it will show you that as well, and you could try to deactivate the offending one. Do note, however, that you will always expect to se at least two files here: one is the default afcad file, which generally you don’t want to mess with or you’ll risk inadvertently removing all airports for that area. Many thanks Are you using ORBX Global Vector? if yes, then run the "FTC Vector Configurator", and use the Airport Elevation Settings tab... Edited December 21, 20205 yr by Gadget FPV Faisal Niazi
