November 26, 200619 yr Anybody using GPSOUT in FSX? I use it all the time with FS9, but it does not seem to work with FSX.If anybody does, let me know.Abe
November 26, 200619 yr GPSOut is now part of FSUIPC 4 and is not a standalone program. I suspect your problem is that you're trying to use the standalone version of GPSOut in FSX and this is a no-no. You better get FSUIPC 4 if you want to use GPSOut in FSX.Robert Robert Chartoff
November 27, 200619 yr Hi,Go and purchase a FSUIPC4 key at SimMarket. FSUIPC needs to be registered to unlock GPSOut for FSX.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
November 27, 200619 yr Author Just to confirm that this works - I purchased a license for FSUIPC4 today, and now have Jeppesen FliteDeck running on a 2nd PC sync'd up to FSX via a serial cable using the now built-in GPSOUT. Works like a charm as a moving map...As soon as I get my 2nd PC on my network, I can ditch the serial cable as you can now do GPSOUT right over your network.
