December 24, 20205 yr I'm considering A Razor Blackwidow Elite keyboard, this will enable me to colour code individual keys for various tasks in MSFS. Has anyone done this? what are your thoughts on this? https://www.razer.com/gb-en/gaming-keyboards/Razer-BlackWidow-Elite/RZ03-02622400-R3W1 CORSAIR OBSIDIAN SERIES™ 750D FULL TOWER CASE - Intel® Core™ i7 Eight Core Processor i7-9700K (3.6GHz) 12MB Cache - Gigabyte Z390 UD: ATX, LG1151 - 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3000MHz - NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER - 2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 256MB CACHE - 1TB INTEL® 760p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (upto 3230MB/sR | 1625MB/sW) - CORSAIR 650W TXm SERIES - CoolerMaster MasterLiquid Lite 120 High Performance Liquid Cooler
December 25, 20205 yr Hello, Some gamers use Ps2 keyboards, so do I. (brand new motherboard) Old technology ? yes, but faster- and you can press as many keys as you want at the same time. Many web sites will explain this better than I. Uefi bios is 2" faster vs Usb keyboard + mouse Disadvantages : - Ps2 keyboards are not hot plugable. I never remove my keyboard ... - No colored Ps2 keyboards : you have to paint your colors around letters it's better than stickers.
December 26, 20205 yr Not sure if this has been covered before. But for the life of me I was having trouble linking MSFS (FlightSimulator.exe) to Razer Synapse 3.0 so I can create profiles and a custom color pallet for my Razer mouse and keyboard. Apparently this is an issue if you purchased MSFS through the MS store and not the steam version. The exe, is protected in the WinApps folder and can't be linked. It occurred to me, after analyzing how Synapse works, to create a a dummy FlightSimulator.exe file, place it anywhere, and link Synapse to that file. Miraculously it works. I guess Synapse is only looking at running processes to switch over to your profiles. You don't actually have to link the real file. Hopefully this helps someone, because I found no info on the web about this.
