Holy cow...hitting in the 60's and 70's with the FSR500 at FlyTampa KLAS with traffic set and at 4K. Nvidia is a shameless company, but I knew that already. Also I have no issue running this with the Afterburner overlay and HDR on and seems to work fine with G-Sync.

Agree, I think you can press shift or C or something else (who knows) while in drone to control the airplane, but you can't control drone and plane at the same time. FSX and P3D had a better implimintation which is absurd.

Another TrackIR users. For me it just works so why change it. Would be nice if the software was updated to a modern look, and maybe they could sell a hat with the reflectors built in. Stupid clip is always falling off or springing off somwhere. Seems like Natural Point has no interest in expanding its product line or marketing or improving. Weird. Atleast it works. Did they fixing the disappearing landing gear on AI traffic? Anyone?

I gave up on on default ATC, the best part of MSFS is that the volume knob on your radio is actually functional, unlike in P3D or FSX. I suggest you turn the volume all the way down.

A big struggle I've always had in all flightsims is determining actual ground distance on the flare while simultaneously manipulating this practically worthless Saitek yoke that I have. Especially with realistic aircraft models like A2A. Despite all the yoke mods that I've done to this thing, precision leaves much to be desired. Might need to invest in something better.

So 75mph or slightly lower has certainly helped to smooth out my landings. One thing though, it seems the piper gets super twitchy with the elevator on the flare. I always thought at lower speeds, especially close to stall you lose elevator effectiveness, requiring more pull on the yoke. It's seems like it's the opposite for me. On flare I have to be very mindful to not over correct. It doesn't seem right.

Yeah I've been doing 90mph approach speeds. I will have to try 80mph. I also have a tendency of coming in too high on approach which is not helping.

I know I need to work on my landings, but how does everyone feel on the amount of float. Certainly more than all my other GA aircraft. Does this seem accurate to real life?

I get the white dot and the white frame around displays. I noticed however when I get the white dot I also get an erratic mouse cursor. If I jiggle my rudder pedals it usually goes away for awhile.

I didn't lose any settings when I converted. I simply downloaded the Xbox app from the MS store. Once installed it should list MSFS in your "My Library". Click on MSFS and to the right of "Play" click on the three dots and you should have an option to configure your setup for more "management options", or something of that nature. Click on it and you will have to set an install path. It wants to default to C:\Xboxgames or something, I set mine to C:\MSFS in the Xbox app settings. It appears that you can't install to anything other than the C drive. You should have an MSFS folder with a number of folders and files in it including the DLAA file. I did not lose any settings doing this.

I have the MS store version and had to install the Xbox app and convert to the new install path. Once the app is installed, there is option to convert MSFS install path in order to have more file management options. I followed through with the procedure, and everything is ok and working. Also the file in question is now there. I was able to backup the file and replace it with the new ver. Not sure I notice any difference tbh.

There is no such file for me in my installation. Am I missing something?

FYI it seems to be working again!

I wish they would release what they have, already wat better than default atc. I'll gladly beta test.

Maybe with the latest PMDG update, its broken. Hoperfully it gets fixed.

There's something different about the feel of the MSFS Commanche. I can't compare anymore since I've deleted P3D.
