Saitek Pro Flight Yoke strange behaviour

Featured Replies

I'm remotely trying to fix this yoke for another simmer and I'm stuck.

He is using FSX but the problem happens even without the sim being launched, in the Windows 7 Joystick control panel.

There is no issue when moving the yoke just left and right. But if he pushes the yoke, then the small cursor in the config panel also moves left (around mid range), i.e. the aileron is also activated. When pulling the yoke, it moves the cursor to the far right.

I have no idea how to fix this behaviour. The guy told me that it was working fine before he wrongly reset the controls config in the sim (obliging me to reconfigure each axis and button). But anyway, the behaviour happens even when the sim is not running.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks

If he is using Saitek software/drivers, it may be worth uninstalling and then re-downloading and reinstalling that software.

Thanks. I will advise this to the owner.

Nico,

You may try this. This will remove all problematic predefined yoke settings. You can re-calibrate the yoke with fresh start. Be remembered to back up the registry file before proceeding.
