January 15, 20215 yr Hey there, I've ran into unusual problem with PMDG Boeing 737. When I takeoff and try to engage CMD A, it only blinks with green light and doesn't want to engage, however, when I engage CMD B it works just fine. I wouldn't worry so much, but with just CMD B I can't do normal ILS landings, I need both CMDs. Can you help me with this matter?
January 15, 20215 yr I'd guess that the elevator axis on your joystick isn't centered. If the acft isn't trimmed and you're applying control forces, the AP won't engage until the force is removed from the controls. There should be an option (accessed via the FMS) to disable that check, i.e. allow the AP to be engaged without checking the elevator axis position.
