January 18, 20215 yr If I set the left knob to select “CRS”, the right knob properly rotates the VOR 1 needle in the OBS. However, if I select VOR 2 in the CDI, turning the Bravo's right “increase/decrease” knob generates no response; it does not move the VOR 2 needle around the OBS. How can I configure the OBS for VOR 2 to work the way VOR 1 does??
January 18, 20215 yr You can’t unless you sacrifice one of the other functions of the left knob I’ve sacrificed altitude and adjust that using the yoke So my left knob is now assigned from the top as IAS Vs Heading Obs1 Obs2
January 19, 20215 yr I'm not sure what you mean destructive but to be honest with you I love this alternative as it saves you always changing the left rotary dial every time you want to make a quick altitude adjustment when you have selected the left dial to make ias or vs airspeed changes. Makes it soooo much easier LOL It the perfect world the Bravo should have had a separate dial for Altitude just like in any RL autopilot! Honeycomb was a bit skimpy in not providing us with a separate Altitude dial on the Bravo so assigning it to one of the black toggle switches on the yoke makes sense; giving you the added bonus of then been able to assign OBS2

I can't remember off the top of my head but have a look at the profile assignments for OBS 1 and then just search for the relevant OBS 2 assignment I think it was something like "VOR1 OBS" or something to that effect I'm not sure what solution you use to avoid the acceleration bug but if you are using vJoy and Joystick Gremlin the link below shows how I do it https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/honeycomb-aeronautical-partnership-please-fix-input-bugs-vote-it-up/328899/61?u=gruesomeeight66
January 20, 20215 yr Author Thanks. I'm going with Rmag's suggestion of using a two-input combination of holding the nav button down while using the increasing/decreasing knob to "increase vor 2 obs" and vice versa. Since I use vor 2 mostly for ILS, it's not a big issue. I just hate using the mouse on panel knobs for anything.
