January 30, 20215 yr Today I learned, and I'll share it with any who don't already know, that you can open some instruments in MSFS in separate windows. Hold down the right-alt key, and move the mouse over the panel. It will turn into a magnifying glass when over any applicable gauges. Click, and it will open in a new window which you can move around, including onto second monitors.
January 30, 20215 yr This has been on the official forum for some time now. Cockpit builders use it to even shift the popped out gauge onto a second screen, as you noticed. It works even for the G1000. On the second screen you can augment it by a frame with all the knobs and stuff driven by Airmanager 4 beta or Mobiflight and you have a completely separate G1000. There are still a number of issues with the approach, some people (including me, when I tried it once) get half of the fps when shifting to a 2nd screen, but basically it works. Anyway, here are some cool pix (scroll down): https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/full-g1000-control-now-with-mobiflight/348509/27 (only as an example, there are quite a number of more threads on this) Kind regards, Michael Intel i7-13700K / AsRock Z790 / Crucial 32 GB DDR 5 / ASUS RTX 4080OC 16GB / BeQuiet ATX 1000W / WD m.2 NVMe 2TB (System) / WD m.2 NVMe 4 TB (MSFS) / WD HDD 10 TB / XTOP+Saitek hardware panel / LG 34UM95 3440 x 1440 / HP Reverb 1 (2160x2160 per eye) / Win 11
