787 starting fine, at the end it is a slide show

Featured Replies

I have my sim locked at 30 fps. I have a rtx2080ti, i-9-10900k, 32g 3.2mhz ddr4 ram, sim is installed on a ssd m2 nvme. I haven't really flown the 787 since launch time. It was just too buggy. I have been enjoying the a320nx and wt cj4. So I wanted to give it a go, and tried a longhaul from ENGM to KEWR. I used fsuipc to pause at TOD. At startup and takeoff everything was normal. Butter smooth.

By the time I came back 8h15 mins later, the sim was a slideshow. Changing views take a second to respond, and I have to click twice for my pc to register the input. Everything is a stuttering mess. I have around 10 fps. Anyone else noticed this issue? Im not sure if it is related to the b787 specifically, or just long haul flights generally.

PS. This is the default 787 I'm talking about.

Or maybe your extreme pause is the problem.  MSFS does not pause the same as earlier sims.  I don't know the technical details, but it is real and a likely suspect for your problem.
