Saitek yoke & Thrustmaster pedals

Featured Replies

I'm using a Saitek flight yoke with throttle quadrant and an old set of Thrustmaster rudder pedals in MS FSX.

Issue #1:  I can see and adjust both controllers in Windows and in the Control section of FSX.  The trouble is that as separate controllers, I can not get them to work together in the sim. Is there something I'm missing here? Have tried plugging the pedals into the yoke and into the PC directly, no difference.   Any ideas

Issue #2:  The Saitek Flight yoke seems to work great with some aircraft, mostly low performance ones.  With others I'm getting glitches in controls and in some cases the world spins slowly counter-clockwise regardless of control inputs or trim settings. Rebooting sometimes stops this, other times it doesn't.

Any help is appreciated THX

@LDA01 I can't help, unfortunately, but I did read that it's supposed to be possible to use multiple controllrs at the same time in FSX without a 3rd party app. But I can't get it to work either. MSFS is definitely a step up in that regard (and many others).

Thanks for the reply 109, great to hear from someone in the UK. (FYI: my father served in the 34th BG(H) at Mendlesham 1944-5)

I know the MS designed the sim to work with rudder pedals, and I see many talking about using them. I'm apparently overlooking something.  Leaves me wishing for the ol days when a piece of software came with a real manual.

Simply reassign every axis of rudder pedal in FSX, it doesn't come default, but works without other problem for me
