MSFS Record and Replay

Featured Replies

What a great little tool.  nice and smooth, easy to use. Only problem is you can chose a start and finish within the the full recording,  but man this is great!

Hello Rocky,

I purchased the MSFS Recorder this morning and I am very happy to inform you that the recording and replay is working very good in the sim with no problems.

However, when I try to record the replay using Bandicam I face some jitters only when I turn the airplane left or right. When the airplane moves straight there is no jitters.

Could you kindly advice me to a possible solution ?

Best regards,

That's correct.

If you want to make a video, I suggest you use MSFS Recorder for playback and use Windows Game Bar to record a video during the playback, using the view you want. This is exactly what I did for my YouTube video.

If you don't know Windows game bar, just remember you can start/stop video recording using Win-Alt-R key.

Ok, got it. Thanks Rocky.

Yes, you can choose the start by moving the replay slider. I admit that you must click PLAY first to start playback, then move the slider to the desired position. And you can stop whenever you want, you can even take back control of the aircraft where you stop, if you wish.

I have no jitter at all with the latest version (1.2), This is the one you have because you purchased it recently.

The only possible explanation I see is because Bandicam takes some CPU and the frame rate when replaying is very different from the frame rate during recording, not sure. Did you try recording with Windows game bar? It appears to be very efficient and it can record full screen and sound.

Hello Rocky,

First of all, I changed the location of the recording output folder from the drive MSFS runs to a different drive.

Then, I switched the recording app from Bandicam to Windows game bar.

I now get better smooth image output  for the recordings. No problems at all now.

Thank very much for your help.

One suggestion, since the Windows game bar works efficiently with the Application why don't you put some buttons for key bindings which are already available in Windows game bar such as:

Record last 30 seconds.

Start/Stop Recording.

Good idea.

Having access to the Windows game bar form a programmatic point of view is not so easy but I will see what I can do.

I understand, I struggled awhile trying to bind the keys to voice attack.

Thank you for the addon and help.

Good luck and best regards,
