Pilot2ATC freezing up

Featured Replies

Hi,
Just finished my 10 day trial of P2A in X-plane 11.
I'd love to buy it but it has proven too unstable on my system.
When it works it's great but I'm quite sure I haven't made it through a single flight without it freezing up on me. Requiring me to shut it down.
Freezing is the main problem, but sometimes, although it hears me there is no audible response. Sometimes it disrupts the sound in the sim itself.
With task manager running I can see there seems to be no CPU or RAM issues with both apps running (I have 16GB RAM).
I'm on Windows 8. Also, I have XPRealistic, X-CPL-Pilot, some REP packages installed... possible conflicts?
XPUIPC version 2.0.0.0 as per link in the documentation.
I have log files available if needed.
If someone can throw out some possible solutions or debugging strategies I'd like to buy it but regrettably can't do it as it stands.
Thanks.

If you email P2A log files to [email protected], I can have a look.  The ones over 10KB would be useful.  Smaller ones probably don't have any clues.

P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name.
Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab.
