.Anybody else not receiving subscriptions?. .

Hi;For the past few years I've been receiving one email every evening for the MS FS Discussion Forum, the MAAM-Sim support Forum, and a few weeks ago - the home cockit forum. It's the highlight of my day. They stopped on the 17 February. A couple of days later - I re-confirmed/reset the subscription part of my account. Still no emails. I've posted in the Help forum, and there are now another nine or ten subscribers also not getting their emails. As with those others - I've changed nothing on the firewall/pc. I run the Avast suite, plus MS Anti-Spyware. It's not unique for a listserve or an email server or application to have issues, but our emails for help are going unanswered. It's not good service to ignore emails for help, and this is creating (in my mind at least!) a blemish on the otherwise untarnished image of Avsim.regards,

We're not ignoring you; folks just don't have an answer, including me. I just checked on all of your subscribtions and you are subscribed to the three forums you name. I have "reset" the subscriptions, and we'll just have to see if that works. I am also moving this from the FS forum to the Hangar forum. As for "not good service", this is a freeware site and we're all volunteers who have real lives outside of AVSIM.

I know, Tom, and I think most of us appreciate the time and work you put into this hobby of ours. I'm the sr unix sysadmin for a local college, and very much aware of the issues you can encounter: sometimes it's quite thankless when you're doing you're darndest to help and you still get a harsh word. A week is a long time without a reply, and my comment was intended to elicit some kind of recognition and a communication to us - your supporters, by a senior team member that there IS an issue, and that the right people are aware of it. Nothing gets fixed if that's not the case. Oh - and don't stop volunteering because of one impatient "client". I'm pretty sure that a lot of folks will be happy to know you're now involved.
