February 25, 20215 yr If you have the Premium Deluxe version, the Pipistrel SW121 is a fun step up from the 172 in terms of climb ability and cruise speed while still keeping the high-wing prop aircraft feel. I flew it across the entire US nonstop for the Cannonball Run race back in December. It's a Rotax engine so no mixture to mess with.
