Custom Livery - C208

Hi All,

I was wondering if anybody could give me pointers on how I would start making my own liveries for the Caravan. I want to replicate the Caravan I fly IRL. I have been successful in the past in FSX at making my own liveries, but am completely unfamiliar with this new sim's format. Any pointers or links to tutorials?? Much appreciated!

I recommend looking up liveries for the C208 at "www.flightsim.to" and asking for guidance from those who have posted 208 repaints there.  I had success in recoloring liveries in FSX, but my success with simply recoloring graphics of MSFS liveries has been frustrating.

The best way is to obtain the UV wireframe files for the C208 from flightsim.to - these will give you a fair idea of which part of the texture files link to which parts of the aircraft.  However, getting even curves or straight lines is a real challenge until you learn blender and how to paint livery designs onto a 3D model.  But there are plenty of youtube video tutorials to get you started.

Do you have a photo of the aircraft you fly IRL for reference?
