December 18, 200619 yr Hi I was under the impression that there was a fix for this problem I was on line with a chat mode at MS and the fix or reset does not work after a new attempt to reinstall now all I have is a set of disks that won't install and no fix ANY HELP TO SOLVE THIS !THANKSTONY

December 19, 200619 yr Hi, Thanks for the quick answer, I found out the hard way by way of INDIA when the chat line got me all messed up there is a fix that you download and run called MICROSOFT KB928080 that you run from the cmd line that resets your fsxThanks againTONY

They called for prefixingthe option with a "-" sign. ( -All, or -TrustedStore )Running the program in an open DOS command window ( so you can seethe results, not just a flash of the window ) I saw the commandwas failing. Using the help function, it indicated that the correctform for options is to prefix them with a "/".Thus, the following format worked:c:MicrosoftKB928080resetsldl /AllC:MicrosoftKB928080resetsldl /TrustedStore Paul
May 13, 200719 yr Interesting... the "/All" switch doesn't seem to work for me, hwoever, the "/trustedstore" one does... go figure...
