March 2, 20215 yr Hoping someone can help. New Pilot2Atc user, have it connected properly, and works perfectly for everything prior to departure. I can get my clearance, pushback, taxi, departure runway approval, etc. Problems start once I take off. I NEVER hear from ATC once I get in the air. I have my co-pilot set up for frequency changes and responding to radio. I take off, and literally fly to my destination with no ATC communications back to me. I don't get radar contact, no altitude change request, nothing??? My sqawk is code is showing up in top of the box in p2atc nor am I fiddling with frequency changes. I am leaving everything as is and waiting for ATC to contact me. What in the world I am doing wrong or missing? Any help would be appreciated.

P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. Dave
March 3, 20215 yr Author Thanks Dave, I think I figured it out, had my squawk plugged in but don't believe it was active... Did my first flight and had ATC control the entire flight. Now my only issue is that the ATC would not descend me as per the flight plan I imported from SimBrief. It kept me at my 37,000 feet altitude all the way into approach?? The info on the flight plan inside pilot2atc was correct in terms of what altitude I should be at for each waypoint, but for whatever reason was not getting instruction from ATC to descend. That normal or am I missing something else?
March 3, 20215 yr Commercial Member If you had a STAR, you would likely have been given a single instruction to "Descend to xxx ft via the yyyy arrival...". You would have received that a minute or so before reaching the first waypoint in the STAR. Without a STAR, you would have been given a step-down descent starting near the green arrow TOD. Dave
