Assigned Brake button not behaving as expected.

Featured Replies

I have brakes (apply/release) set to a joystick button and the repeat slider is all the way to the right. When I press the button it says “brakes” on the screen for a split second. Even if I hold the button, the message on the screen disappears.  But if I press and hold the “.” key, the “brakes” message stays on the screen and the brakes are continuously applied.   Does this have something to do with the repeat slider or is there something else I have to configure? I did change the button from the default trigger button to one on top of the joystick.  I own a Logitech Extreme 3D joystick.  Thanks!

Set repeat slider all the way to the left.

Done.

Check your controller settings, sometimes you may get same item assigned to more than 1 controller. I had a parking brake that would not work properly and noticed an occasional differential brake flickering in corner of screen. Found parking brake had assignements in pedals(that I did not placed there). deleted them and rechecked setting where I wanted them--- works fine.

I moved the repeat button to the middle and it seems to have done the trick.  Thanks!
