Definitely pointing at our dll.

It hasn't been updated for at least 6 months and no other report of this kind.

Therefore, could be related to a specific usage scenario. Need some context.

Are you using the MCE patch? (which mce.exe version are you on?)

State which aircraft it happened with and whether it happened when airborne or on ground.

Are you using Native Prepar3D V4 ATC?

Are you using GSX?

List other utilities, if any (no need to list scenery or other installed planes)

Was in the air on approach when the crash occurred. Here's the list:

PMDG 777F up-to-date (just had a major update to v1.11.1143) and I suspect there have been changes to the SDK that might affect MCE
GSX up-to-date
Radar Contact up-to-date (native ATC off)
Active Sky + Active Sky Cloud Art both up-to-date
MCE 2.9.0.0
Alpha India AI Companion up-to-date
MSI Afterburner v4.6.3.16053
RivaTuner Statistics Server v7.3.0.24467

That's it

Happened again. Was under 10,000 ft and in the process of choosing an arrival gate in GSX.  On reflection that was what I was doing when the first crash occurred.

Great.

That narrows it down to how fsInsider64 dll gets info from GSX (maybe something changed here recently). Will be looked at the coming week.

An update. Another flight with the same setup but WITHOUT choosing a gate in GSX until after landing. No problem experienced.

Although couldn't replicate, (would need to test under different options appearing in GSX Simconnect window), the suspect is a buffer that collects those options.

It has been made larger

Try the new "fsInsider64.dll" found in latest patch using same departure and arrival airports where you experienced the crash.

Thank you.

Thanks for the help. The link to MCE-Patch-MSFS.zip doesn't go anywhere.

Can definitely get it via the link on this forum.

Maybe your browser security doesn't let you access zip files that have .exe files in them.

Here is a link to the relevant dll only

Eventually, copy and paste this link to the address bar

http://www.multicrewxp.com/fsInsider64.zip
