March 13, 20215 yr Hey everyone, so I love the RXP GTN750 especially for my EC135, but after the last update I can't use it anymore. I installed everything as I should, and in X-Plane everything works as well. But as soon as i start up the GTN750 in my helicopter, it says "Database not found". I checked in the DB Folder of the Trainer but everything is there as it should. Sadly this error makes the GTN750 unusable right now and I hope for fast answers, since I don't want to miss out flying with the GTN750. Kind Regards, Louis Edited March 14, 20215 yr by RXP
March 14, 20215 yr Author I actually found the "kind of issue", I read in another Thread that i should check the registry entries and i corrected them. But now I got the issue that the Database is Expired. Â https://prnt.sc/10kxig1
March 14, 20215 yr Hi, I'm glad you've sorted this out and searching the forum helped you find answers faster! The GTN is displaying they are expired and this is normal and expected (you can see the date limit showing up). The device must show these for regulation purposes, and for reminding the pilot. However, this doesn't mean they are outdated! Nearly 95% (if not more) hasn't changed.
March 14, 20215 yr Again my timing is poor...just ready to post this and RXP posts. I will post this anyway as it may help... ------------------ This may help explain the situation. X-Plane 11 has a stock database that it ships with, slightly out of date but usable. The database can be modified with your own selection of custom data or with a Navigraph subscription to keep the sim up to date. The RXP GTN 750/650 avionics  simulator addon allows us to use a nearly full featured Garmin unit...but...the trainer database date is controlled by Garmin and as such, will be an older version. This database will do fine for GA use. If one wants a newer or the latest database, then a different route will need to be taken. Navigraph will not work with this unit. You will need a Jeppesen or Garmin update suitable to these units. If you have access to this update via your own aircraft, there are ways to download to the sim. If one is not available, then the thread below will give you an idea where to look since the cost will vary by method. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/546848-rxp-gns-530w430w-v2-database-update/ Stay safe...
March 15, 20215 yr Author Thanks for the answers! So if i understood correctly i can't use Navigraph to update the Database and there's no way to get an update except with an Aircraft that uses the GTN750? Greetings

I don't believe the posts tagged as "recommended" at the top of the aforementioned discussion are validating this as the only option. You might want to review them in detail in order to get a broader view of the options available.
