UK discretionary landing instruction problem.

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone, not sure if anyone has experienced this problem I get. It’s always been a problem since I upgraded my system. I’m running W10 /P3dv4/ Voxatc 7.42/ UK2000 airfields.

Mostly fly VRF from UK airfields. I’ve used VOXATC for many years, I have found it to be very close to R/L but of course with it’s odd bugs which you can mostly workaround.

The main problem I have is completing a landing sequence at a UK A/G or FIS airfield.

When on final I get the normal ‘Call sign-Land at your discretion’ instruction but when I reply ‘landing + my call sign’ Voxatc just repeats ‘Land at your discretion’ as thought it doesn’t recognize my response.

This continues about 4 times then the controller says ‘Unavailable at this time’. If I continue my approach & landing Voxatc continues as normal once I’ve touched down. I only get this at UK A/G or FIS airfields, towered airfields giving clearances work as normal.

I’ve tried a reinstall of VOXatc & all the voice training but I still get this problem. Can anyone give any thoughts, it’s stumped me for a while now. Many thanks.

@tegoid

for now, cheers
