Anyone else have issues with 28R at KORD (default)?

Featured Replies

I "collided with an object" while turning off at the 2nd highspeed taxiway. No visible object. There was a plane behind me that was told to go around and never acknowledged, but I didn't think MS had enabled plane-to-plane collisions. Anyone else crash here?

Acc. to the Chart that exit would be N2. Went there in the TBM with collisions turned on and hit nothing.

I've been doing some more testing as well. It's like there's an invisible stair step between the runway and the taxiway. If I go over it slowly I just bump over it and the plane tilts a bit until both main gear have crossed it. If I exit it at typical exit speeds for a commercial jet, I slam into the invisible step and crash. I parked there for a bit and watched AI planes, and they bump over the invisible step too.

It also happened exiting R22 at KMSP, though I was going slow enough there not to crash. This has never happened before, and I fly in and out of KMSP a lot, so I'm thinking it might be something patch-related. Especially since I'm one of the ones that got a severe FPS drop after the last patch was applied.

More pieces to the puzzle. Landed at KMSP, R22 just now and crashed immediately on landing. As soon as the main gear touched, the plane rolled violently left, then right, and then it registered a crash.  This was from a stable (well, as stable as possible considering I was getting less than 10fps, and control inputs were lagging) approach, and when the gear touched, I was lined up properly with the runway, and the descent rate was low. It looked like I jumped a curb when the plane rocked.

I can't help but wonder if the FPS drop and this issue might be related given that they both started after the latest patch.
