  1. @jcomm pretty sure because if it would have been assigned to any of those, it would kill the ENG every time....
  2. I took a very long brake flying the ATR and yesterday I took it out of the hangar. Now something very strange is happening on my PC....if I start ENG 2 (regardless if it's in the HOTEL mode or not) if I press Shift + C to exit the plane, the ENG will turn OFF! If ENG 1 is started and I exit the plane, everything works as expected. Also if I only start ENG 1 and exit the plane, nothing unusual (ENG keeps running as expected). So let's summarize: Scenario 1: Start ENG 2 in HOTEL mode -> Shift + C -> ENG turns off Scenario 2: Start ENG 2 in HOTEL mode -> Start ENG 1 -> Shift + C -> all OK (ENG2 stays in HOTEL mode - ENG 1 spinns) Scenario 3: Start ENG 1 -> Shift + C -> no issue So ENG2 will always shut down if it's the only one that runs. Just to add: No other key binding to Shift + C!
  3. @SpeedBudgie yup, I know those. Looking at your picture, I think that the FD cross could stand out a bit more.. It must be my monitor.
  4. @polosim as much as I appreciate you trying to help me, I must say that you have no idea what I'm talking about. In front of your seat there are 2 LCD displays (primary flight display unit aka PFD and the navigation display aka ND). On the PFD there are 2 lines, one vertical and one horizontal aka Flight Director. The green color is hard to see when you pitch up since they are on blue background. The ND shows you a clock if you start it by pressing the CHRONO button. The CHRONO is then displayed on the lower left corner of the ND on a grey background - again hard to see. So none of your turn buttons control ONLY those lines or colors. Yes, you can change the brightness of both LCD displays but that also changes the brightness of all elements displayed on them.
  5. @polosim that controlls the brightness of the annunciator lights. I'm talking about the FD and ND displays especially the FD bars and the clock in the lower left corner of the ND.
  6. @willy647 I obviuosly do that but it dimms / brightens all of it. I'm having issues with the the FD bars on blue and the digital clock on the ND on gray background.
  7. Anybody else having issues with the color / brightness of the FD bars, clock etc. ? I find myself struggling a lot to make out those writings / bars. If I look at videos, those FD bars are so bright ("luminescent") that you can't unsee them. Any brighter and they would burn in your retina.
  8. Does this apply to marketplace scenery also? I have some airports from MP of 2020 but I don't see them working / loading in 2024...
  9. @vonduck Yes. You will need to reinstall all the stuff out of the Community Folder. GSX will Relink, Fenix shows you an install button.
  10. @DMullert bindings and settings are stored in the cloud. Simply uninstall -> restert -> check folders (mine were erased) -> reinstall -> fly I also saw that video and decided to give it a shot since MSFS2024 is quite small to DL. It might be placebo but I would say that my sim starts a bit faster!? I see the intro video the second time and I'm the main menu untill the PAX board that blue KLM flight (so the video plays once completely and the second time till that KLM). IIRC I kept seeing the video almost 2 times till I was in.
  11. I saw developer mode in the settings. Have no issues to remove stuff from default airplanes.
  12. @SquadronLeader no issues on my end. Fly WizzAir, Aegean and Condor in FS2024.
  13. @Zimmerbz there is also a way to search for an option and see all the bindings you have to it. You might not see any KB bindings when you are in your KB commands but the behaviour you are having leads me to think you have another Axis or Button or something else interfeering with that input.
  14. I installed it on day 1 and only started it on day 4 (was following all the dust it has created the first days). No issues with the sim. I took me some hours to set up my controls and fly since then with no issues (some minor stutters maybe due to scenery loading and my internet connection).
  15. I do have a hard time to understand why some people face so much issues with all the Custom Camera setting. I suppose you guys don't realy go through all the options. As it was said before, there are options called "Save custom Camera 1,...". You just select your KB, go to Cameras, go to cockpit and see what keys are attributed to the saving custom cameras option. I deleted all of them and simply went e.g. for Ctrl+F1...F12. I then deleted ALL other KB bindings for the Ctrl+F1 combo. I then saved the profile as default and applied it to all ACFT. For loading Custom Cameras I attributet HOTAS Keys for all of them. Now the fun part: I never ever experienced ANY issues whith the bindings. What are you guys doing?
  16. My Q is refering to an ASUS X670E-F MoBo but generaly applies to all MoBo's. The full Q is: how to find out which M.2 PCIe slot is occupied by which M.2 drive whithout tearing the system appart? Scenario 1: You buy a new assembled PC and want to find out which SSD populates what M.2 slot. Scenario 2: You assemble a MoBo with 2 identical M.2 SSDs using M.2_1 and M.2_2 slots (on that specified MoBo) but want to install the OS on the drive located in the M.2_1 slot. On the specified MoBo, both PCIE slots are 4.0x4 and don't share any lanes whit other PCIE......
  17. No such issues on my side. I constantly fly from or to germany (EDDM, EDDF, EDDS, EDNY, EDJA,....) and have zero issues with the region (all Worls updates installed).
  18. @nassef77 so just to conclude: REX Atmos is terrible because you were unable to log in and the support did not answer you quick enough (both things in a timeframe from about 24h)? So you decided to buy it again from another store and, while it does work and "is amazing", your still bothered that you have to log in every time, and still think it's terrible? GEEZ mate...please cool down a bit since it might not be good for your health.
  19. Purchased MSFS on day 1 from the MS Store and never had an issue with it. Also my (few) store purchases wen't without any issues whatsoever. I also use Steam and did not encounter any issues in my years of use. To debate upon which is better is a waste of time IMHO. Those who had issues with Steam, will probably choose the Store, and the other way around. As a side note: a vast majority of users here are sharing the opinion to buy things directly from the developer. I wonder why this does not generaly apply to MS as well 😉 (this is why I originaly went with the Store and will probably choose it again).
  20. Had no such issues with my Q2 and cable link. But looking at your setup, I think you won't be happy with the Q3 also. With the 1080Ti you won't get much out of the sim. I ment that the router should be placed in absolute proximity of your headset so you have the best signal. Mine was placed in a "IT connexion box" and my house is made out of rebars and concrete so thw WiFi signal is kind of shielded. I had to put some repeters to have good signal throughout my home and my Q3 (and Q2) connected to either the router or one of the repeaters (which was bad). Due to the fact that my Q3 no longer works with cable, I took the router from the IT connexion box and put it on my desk (lost the ability to use LAN cables throughout my home in this way). I also configuret the repeaters in such a way that the Q will not connect to them anymore. So this is what I ment connecting to the router directly...not with cable.
  21. @himmelhorse nobody knows what could lead to the issue. Some are saying that some USB C Ports do not provide enough current, some say Quest 3 does not have a compatible link cable (if you purchase now a Meta link cable, it will say "compatible with Q2" on it's cover, others say it's a SW / FW bug of some sort.....I tried realy everything that I found out there regarding power states of USB ports...... Nothing worked on my end. THIS DOES NOT MEAN IT WOULD NOT RUN ON YOUR END! Maybe you can try one out or get yours and return it if it's an issue. I had to change my entire WiFi setup (including the router) to get Air Link to work properly (this means the router must have at least WiFi 6 / AX, be near to your Q3 so that your Q3 connects directly to it and your PC should connect through cable to your Router). Air Link should work pretty decent with this setup but although its very stable with, the best connection will still be through a cable! Maybe post your experience and your setup when you have it.
  22. Quest 3 headsets have issues with the link cable (they don't work / recognize it). I have the same issues on 2 Q3 Headsets and 2 original Link cables. Just search after Quest 3 link cable issues. Nobody could tell me what is wrong with it (Meta Support nor Asus). Have an Asus Z-590 E and worked flawlessly with my Q2.
  23. Remembering back when I used to fly the FSL Bus, in order to steer with the tiller, I had to press the PEDAL DISC button. As long as that button was pressed, I could steer the bus. That button would automatically depress on TO after a certain speed. The Fenix logic seams to be inverted somehow on my end. If I press the PEDAL DISC button, I'm unable to steer and also the tiller would not turn. Having the button depressed, the tiller is turning and steering works. I'm wondering if there is a config issue on my end. I have an AXIS assigned for tiller and another for Rudder (IIRC).
