planes fly unstable

Featured Replies

With fair skies set, I can't get the TBM 930 or the C152 to fly smoothly like they used to.

They fly like they are bounced around by wind gusts. This started after one of the updates.

On all the videos on youtube these planes fly very smooth.

I'm using Thrustmaster Warthog controllers. They work perfect in P3D and Xplane.

Help appreciated.

Doublecheck whether your flight model is set to modern. Saw that for some users that setting was changed after an update to legacy. Just an idea. May be completely useless for your case

The occasional movement up or down, even when autopilot is on, appears to be part of the "turbulence" mode that's built in, I think.

There is no turbulence mode. It's just simulating the airflow around the scene. Even in "fair weather" you can get mechanical turbulence and convection.

There are only few mornings (at least where I fly) that the air is perfectly smooth. More often than not, it's bumpy as all hell.

Seaox is right. This problem came with Ver 1.14.5.0. It's not a controller problem.
