P3DV4 Windows Sound Communications Window

Featured Replies

Hi Gerald,

The Windows Sound Communications Window that you set up doesn't come up any longer when starting the sim. Have uninstalled and re-installed MCE to v2.9.0.7 and still nothing.

Would appreciate any thoughts.

Harry

Sorry for the delay. I was hoping to get back to you with the fix.

That feature has been temporarily disabled because some people don't like it popping up every time they start the sim. It will be restored with a more palatable behaviour, like only starting once or two a day.

Well I for one don't mind it. Saves me having to do it manually and forgetting to more times than not. Maybe consider making it a option in the settings?

Now, active by default and can be disabled in "fsInsider.ini" if required

Grab the patch

Updated "fsInsider64.dll is in there as well as other files.

Had a look at fsInsider.ini but the parameter is not obvious. Is it DisableLinkage=0? Only one that sort of made sense.

When option isn't there, it defaults to enable.

To disable it, add this line to [OPTIONS] section

DisableVolumeFade=0
