March 27, 20215 yr I'm obviously doing something stupid here... I have installed and run setup for a purchased version of GIT MS2020. However, every time I double click (either the program or the desktop shortcut) to open the program, I just get a message that a version of the program is already running, but no GIT program screen is displayed. That said, there is a brief "flash" on screen as though the program is running, but not staying "open" so I can't access it. Nothing shows as open in the task manager as well. The same situation occurs whether I'm trying to run the program with or without MSFS 2020 loaded and running. I know this is a stupid question, but can someone tell me what I should be doing to correct this problem? Many thanks,Brian Edited March 27, 20215 yr by brianVancouver clarity
March 27, 20215 yr Have you posted over on the GFIT forum? Steve is usually quite quick to provide support over there. I haven’t seen that issue myself. I always wait until I’m sitting in the aircraft to load up GFIT, I think there can be some initialisation issues if it is loaded before prior to MSFS loading (unlike P3D). March 27, 20215 yr Author Thanks Dave, I did post at GIT, but no response as yet. It was only yesterday. I have tried opening it on its own, and after I have an aircraft up in MSFS. Unfortunately, in both cases, all I get is a message that it is already running, but the GIT program itself never appears so I can't configure any of my devices. I may try uninstalling and re-installing again just in case something odd occurred when I ran the initial GIT Setup exe, Brian
March 27, 20215 yr Author UPDATE: I reinstalled and although its still a bit buggy opening (it needs to be forced close via the task manager between each use), I think I can now successfully call it up both outside and within the sim, Brian
