March 31, 20215 yr Hey there, today i started Pilot2ATC and got following Error Message in german: Pilot2ATC Exception: Der Remoteserver hat einen Fehler zurückgegeben: (418) Blocked Translated: Pilot2ATC Exception: The Remoteserver occured with error: (418) Blocked. Can someone help please ? I use MSFS2020 so far never errors occured.
March 31, 20215 yr Commercial Member I suspect something is going on with the StreetMap sever in your region. Hopefully they will resolve it soon. Dave
July 16, 20223 yr I am receiving the same error (some 15 months later) though in English. Twelve of the 16 blocks making up the map area have a blue box with the error message in red and a comment "We are sorry, but we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this region. I went to openstreetmap.org, which worked fine, so it does not appear to be a problem with their server. This began happening after I upgraded from Pilot2ATC v 2.5 to 2.6.3.1 today. Before the upgrade, it seemed to work fine. Any thoughts welcome.
July 16, 20223 yr Commercial Member If the Streetmap server is working, then changing zoom levels and back and forth to other map types might fix the problem. If not, you can delete the map cache folder and force a fresh read of all maps. C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\GMap.NET\TileDBv5\en\Data.gmdb Where <UserName> is your PC user name. Dave
July 16, 20223 yr Dave, Your suggestion to cycle through other map types seems to have done the trick. Prior to seeing your message, I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling, which did not work. I also tried installing on another PC and all worked fine, which pointed to something on the PC, not network or servers. Odd issue and odd solution but it worked, and that makes it a good solution! Thanks Steve
