The Green Spain

Recommended Posts

The Green Spain is the coastal area from the Portoguese-Spanish Border to the Spanish-French Border.

We depart from Vigo (LEVX), visit the city and the Rande-Bridge and head towards Santiago de Compostela (LEST).  After departure we overfly the city to admire the famous cathedral (see pilot's guide). We overfly the town of A Coruna, the Tower of Hercules and land at A Coruna (LECO). We head east across the mountains and back to the coast to land at Asturias (LEAS).  We stay at the coast, visit the city of Santander and land its airport (LEXJ). The next stop is at Bilbao (LEBB). We fly across the mountains again and head back to the coast to reach today's destination San Sebastian (LESO).

Is anyone else getting the now well-documented "Your packages are out of date" problem?  I had this come up yesterday evening while talking my first flight in the Piggi (which is excellent).  If/when you get this message, you have the options "yes" and "no".  "Yes" apparently wipes all your game settings and logbook, while "no" will allow you to continue but knocks you offline - not much help for a multiplayer session.  It sounds as though a lot of users are abstaining until this gets sorted.

Is anyone else thinking that it might be better to run in P3D for this evening's flight?

I found this (here somewhere):

Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Data and turn off Online Functionality, then save, then on, then save.

Then, rather than exiting the options menu, instead close MSFS by pressing Alt+F4 and restart the sim.

Step 2: If this doesn't fix the issue, reset the rolling cache (go to Settings > General > Data and delete rolling cache, then you need to initialise it again by switching it back on on the same page, and wait while it initialises) and repeat step 1 again.

I have the message pop up every day. So far I always pressed yes and still have my data. But the next time I will try the above solution which apparently had helped others.

I would need to install all airports, but other than that I could also run P3D. At the moment I'm flying MSFS with no issues (yet....).

Nick,

I went into the Content Manager and found three available updates. I did those and so far no problem.
