Question--> FS Playground Recorder

Featured Replies

Quick one for ya, guys...

anyone successfully using the FS Playground recorder app with some of these mods?:

Mugz TBM mod

Rob Youngs Bonanza mod

Uwe's lighting mods

WT G1000/3000 mods

Also...if anyone knows for certain of any mod or addon that will NOT work with this recorder app could you please make mention of it?

Thanks!

Dave

It has worked fine for me with both of those.   I haven't tried it with either the TBM or Bonanza mods, but from what I know of what the Bonanza mod has done it should work fine with that.  I'm less certain of the TBM, but I suspect it will.

I know there can be issues with the FBW Airbus and some of these utilities given the changes they have made to the Airbus (see, eg, the notes on the free Flight Recorder), but for anything less extensive than that that is still using all the stock simvars for its flight control I don't think you should have any notable issues.

@kaosfere Hi, and thanks for the response.

I like the fact that Playground has the rewind ability so you can go back to a specific place in the recording and then actually start flying the plane again from that point onward. This seems to me a useful feature which I don't believe the other recorders are doing yet. I also think id get some use out of the weather lookup.
