MCE launching sound settings each sim session

Featured Replies

I don't know how this happens or whether it's a bug, but I find it highly annoying as I think it delays sim start.

MCE launches sound settings to set the communication setting to "do nothing" and maybe something else, I don't know. That setting is already set the way it should be anyway.

Is there a config setting I need to change in mce.ini? Is it related to FS2020?

It's not related to MSFS 2020

It is to get around a Windows 10 bug whereby, merely setting "Do nothing" once doesn't work as expected.

It needs to be reset on every Windows boot session.

Feature is implemented in both "fsInsider.dll and fsInsider64.dll

Having said that, we already acknowledged that it was annoying to see it fire on every Prepar3D or FSX start and was changed recently to only happen on the first flight sim of the day. It should only fie when the last time you shut the sim down was more than 10 hours ago.

Download patch  and replace files as per folder sructure, or download very latest versiom
