April 24, 20215 yr I'm getting hooked on doing RNAV approaches with the Daher. They seem to work well but I have 2 questions. 1) If I activate the RNAV approach in cruise will it take me down to the runway? I've been descending manually. 2) When is a good time to turn on APR? Doesn't seem to matter. Garmin calls what you are referring to 'Autoland' and it exists in the new TBM but not this one unfortunately... you will still have to manually land the plane 🙂 If you have the arrival programmed to the approach it should fly to the MAP for you. 2) When is a good time to turn on APR?
