April 30, 20215 yr So I start up MSFS, am in cockpit, start MCE, get the pilot chatter, message to wait for co-pilot, MCE window appears briefly on screen and then promptly shuts down. I've tried a reinstall with no luck.

I've tried a reinstall with no luck. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder and check anti-virus didn't "eat" "Simco64_Ldr.exe" It should be inside that folder. Report version number for both "mce.exe" and "Simco64_Ldr.exe" Registered user or going through the Demo? Thanks. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
May 1, 20215 yr Author Simco64_Ldr.exe 1.0.5.5 MCE 2.9.0.8 I'm a registered user - assuming MSFS works with the old FSX licence?

Assuming you are registered for the MCE Ultimate Edition (NOT the Lite Edition which only works with FSX or FS9), there is no need for new license to use it with either FSX or MSFS (or even Prepar3D). Are you getting a specific message (dialog box or other)? Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
May 1, 20215 yr Author It is the Ultimate Edition, yes. No dialogue box or error message...just momentarily throws up the MCE window and closes. I also have MCE for xplane 11 which runs just fine.

Manually delete <Multi Crew Experience> folder Re-install very latest Put key back inside installation folder. Eventually, go to C:\Usres\you_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Multi Crew Expeience\ folde and open "mce.ini" Ensure "Debug=1" Start MCE and it should generate a "startup.log" Send the log to support via e-mail.
