Questions about Taxiway signs at REAL Airports

Recommended Posts

For those of you with real flying experience...

Are the signs on the taxiways and runways fairly consistent between airports in the US?

I've looked at this reference:
https://www.faa.gov/airports/runway_safety/publications/media/QuickReferenceGuideProof8.pdf

Just wonder if you might ever see custom wording, or something like "RWY 10 >", or is it always just
 10 - 28

You may occasionally see some directional signs... FBO, TERMINAL, etc. Those would be black text on yellow. Everything else is pretty much the same, to the standard you referenced. Also, the 10-28 sign would be white text. There is no black on red in the US.
