One of the frustrating parts of flying with other Ai aircraft in FSX / P3D using Radar Contact is occasionally an Ai will line up for departure on your landing runway. RC4 has never dealt with this in a satisfactory way. The result is you being instructed to go-around. Some comply, others ignore and land anyway resulting in the 'loss' of their licence.

There is a simple solution but you require a registered version of FSUIPC.

• Visit this site and download the LUA plugins package. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/68257-latest-lua-package-for-fsuipc-and-wideclient/
• Unzip the contents and open the Example LUA plugins.zip. Inside that is Aifreezer.lua.
• Extract that file to either the FSX\Modules, P3D\Modules folder (versions up to v4) or MyDocuments\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FSUIPC for v5.
• Next, edit FSUIPC.ini and add the following section.

[Auto]
1=Lua AIfreezer

• If you already have an [Auto] section add the entry and change the number to the next available.
• Save and close fsuipc.ini.

What happens now? The code will execute when you either 1) lower your gear or 2) engage full flaps on a fixed gear aircraft. All Ai will be frozen. They are released when your gear hits the runway.

Simple and elegant.

Is this the only way to fix this issue with RC lining up departures when you are on 5 mile final or shorter,i am one of the ones that just ignores the 

instruction and lands anyway.Unfortunately i only have the free version of FSUIPC this tool is a little to expensive to warrant me purchasing it to 

what i would actually use it for,ive survived may years in FSX and P3D with out it with no problem.

Yes I’m afraid it is. But FSUIPC is used by lots of simmers as it provides features not found elsewhere such as...

• AutoSave every x minutes should you have a CTD and not want to start all over again.
• TrafficZapper command to delete Ai.
• Assign two engines to a single axis so you can control a 747 with only two levers.

Many more too but only the paid version can run LUA files.
