Have you addressed the constant CTD when using Rex Atoms for some users,appreciated not everyone had this issue but a good few people did,including myself.

its finished,Dev made his money then did a runner,glad i jumped ship months ago

I gave up on APL months ago,now im enjoying my flight sim more than ever,no more being penalised for ridiculous things,well and truly binned for me,i will not be returning.

Causes CTD for some users,me being one of them,i tend to give it a wide berth if i want to be free of issues.

I have not got MSFS 2024 and dont intent to for a long time yet,but since the lanuch of the new sim my MSFS2020 is running better than ever before,improved FPS and loading times.

MSFS 2020 is running like never before since the imgration to MSFS2024 began,please feel free to go to 2024 because the performance increase is making my 2020 run like a dream.

From the reports ive read,its been a total car crash,glad i made the decision to wait a good fews months,thoughts?

Im staying with MSFS2020 for at least 6 months maybe more,ill wait until all of the issues,problems with the initial release have been ironed out,not to mention all the addons will they work will they not,so im more than happy for all you test pigs to do the work,good luck lol.

lets hope they look into it,but saying that i wouldnt hold my breath.

According to all the PC specialist on here that are not suffering with a CTD when using Atmos,yeah it must be your PC,but all the users getting a CTD with Atmos installed know better.

Wonder if it has the PMDG forum police with their major atitude problems.

Not in the slightest mate,more than happy with MSFS 2020,dont fancy going anywhere near it till all the release issue have been sorted.

Personally i am more than happy with MSFS 2020 and wont be purchasing MSFS 2024 for at least 6 months even longer till all the release bugs,issues have all been sorted,im in no rush,unlike some people.

Great comment, they dont seem to be that interested,just read the replies given to tickets opened on the subject,or the lack of replies to other tickets raised,it shows a total disregard to customers suffering from a CTD with Atmos installed.

I had this issue the other day and i fixed it by unticking and ticking again the PMDG boxes in the GSX config,not sure if you have GSX but this fixed it for me.

Well after just short of 2 weeks of trouble free flying after uninstalling Atmos i decided you know what i will give it another go,well you guessed it first flight CTD with the breakpoint reached error,its definitely off my system for good now.

i didnt think it was a attitude problem,just explaining what he has done with testing his system memory,to many people on here wont except the issue is Atmos.

At last a sensible response from a fellow simmer,thank you,not the usual answer,its all your systems are unstable.

So according to this Westman guy,im lying about have a stable system,which raises the question why would i,i started this thread because i did have a stable system that was until i installed Atmos and my sim started to crash,so i asked the question on here,Is Rex Atmos causing a CTD,it turns out that quite a few people are experiencing the same issue with Atmos,are they lying as well about having a stable system.

What a ridiclous comment,please read the numerous posts that everyone who is experiencing issues with Atmos, most if not all never had a problem with their sim crashing until installing Atmos.

Less stable system are you sure,i never had a CTD in well over 12 months of daily simming,that was until i installed Atmos then 50% of my flights would end with a crash.Since Atmos was totally removed from my system a week ago my sim is back to being totally stable again.

I really dont think they know what is causing the issue for some people mate,im not prepared to be a test pig for a company with a lot more resources than myself,since i uninstall Atmos my sim is back to being 100% stable again,one thing i can say for sure Atmos will not be seeing the light of day on my system again.

I am not prepered to reinstall Atmos for the CTD lottery to start again,i had never had a sim crash for well over 12 months my system was solid,that was until i installed Atmos then it turned out that 50% of my flights would end in a CTD,with the same error Breakpoint has been reached.I uninstalled Atmos and not had one more crash since.I am more than happy to fly without it now.
