Hi Guys, Bit of advice if possible,ive being running P3Dv5.3 on my system for 2 weeks now and im totally happy with it. I would like to uninstall P3Dv4.5 to save some space on my SSD, but would just like to know the correct procedure, as i wouldnt want to delete anything connected to P3Dv5.3. With Thanks Gary Jones.

Hi, Try FSX Tracker i use it with P3Dv5 its just like flightradar 24,but unfortunately is payware,about £10 per year if i remember correctly.But others can veiw the moving map for free. Gary Jones

Hi Guys, I installed V5 over the new year,i love the performance increase over 4.5,but not sure about the night lighting. Also i seem to have a line around the horizon,just using Active Sky with EA off,any ideas what is causing it.No shaders being used just a vanilla v5.3 install. Hi Guys, Just a quick question,i have been a long time user of P3Dv4.5 and im happy with the solid performance of it. Today i took the plunge and purchased P3DV5.3,question is the switch worth it with all the issues i have read about v5 with GPU crashes etc. Also with all my addons work in v5 and will my PC handle it,thinking more about the GPU. i711700k GTX 3060 12 GB 32 GB Ram Windows 10. Addons, Active sky Orbx,LC Europe,Vectors. PMDG Aerosoft Airbus Pro QW 787 Numerous payware addon airports with thanks Gary Jones

Hi Kev, Thanks for the reply much appreciated,i thought scenery which may account for arriving at the east of London,but that doesnt take into account when i depart and the scenery would already have been loaded. Its strange it happens just on that coastline others parts of the UK are fine. Regarding HT i dont touch anything in the Bios is just default,AM is 65532. I have tried disabling all Orbx installs but it still persists even with a vanilla set up of P3Dv4.5. It never used to be an issue i just used to keep away from the area but now i fly with BA virtual i have many departures and arrivals to and from the East. thanks Gary.

Hi Guys, Looking for a little advice from P3Dv4.5 wizards.I have been having this problem for as long as i can remember and i have tried everything in the book to fix it from deleteding shaders to reinstalling the client,nothing helps. The issue is when i departure either EGLL or EGKK to the East once i reach the Essex coast,mouth of the Thames Estuary or the Kent Coast the sim starts to stutter and freeze for roughly 3 to 4 mins then it clears up and i have no other issues during the flight. I can depart Aerosoft EGLL at night in a payware aircraft (this happens in all payware aircraft and default) fly over the City of London with no problems at all smooth and a good 35FPS,once i reach the said areas the problems start.Its the same if i approach either EGLL or EGKK from the east once i reach the coast the stutters and freezing starts,then it will clear up and i can land at the said airports with no further issues.I have no other airports installed around them areas so i am asking if anyone has any ideas as to what it could be because i have tried everything to fix it. I can highly recommend this product adds alot more to the sim,but on the downside updates are very few and far between and when it is updated there is no change log.

UK2000 scenery is soooooo dated now in P3D,there are more and better scenery developers still providing for that platform,so i wont miss your scenery,just continue to chase the £.

Hi Guys, Looking for a little advice,i purchased Justsim EFHK a few weeks back and was suffering with stutters both at the airport and on approach, after trying numerous things to try and alleviate the issue i put it down to the airport itself.I then seen that Orbx had MK Studios EFHK on offer so i bit the bullet and purchased it,installed it and the same stutters are present.I then uninstalled it and tried the default EFHK and the stutters are still there so my thinking is that something else is causing the problem.I have tried it with none of my addons installed,active sky,orbx base,LC vector no AI traffic but the stutters are still present at EFHK,i dont get this issue at any other of my payware,freeware or default airports,has anyboby got any ideas on how to fix this. Thanks for that Ray that would be great,i think you may have alot of time on your hands with all the DXGI_DEVICE_HUNG errors that you are getting with P3Dv5, im following the comments on the P3d Avsim P3D Forum and im not installing the recently purchased v5 until the issue is resloved,flight sim is about enjoyment not worrying if your going to experiance the crash,v 4.5 is so stable for me even with a slightly overclocked GPU.
