I'm just trying to understand the current state of OBS in the sim.  I know it's been implemented on the G1000 / 3000 and also the excellent GNS530 and GTN750 mods.  But from what I understand about OBS...it doesn't seem to be FULLY implemented.  For instance...the Garmin still sequences to next waypoint in the flight plan when OBS is activated.  Also, the Garmin does not keep selected OBS course when switching back to gps mode.  

Now I've never actually used any of the Garmin units or OBS in real life...so my understanding of the functionality could be incorrect. 

Anyone with experience care to clarify?

I've never used the real things either, but I don't seem to have any trouble going via gps course or flying via the OBS
