January 16, 200719 yr When I look into the new FSX cabs all I see is numbered msi packages.How can we pull out back up files that may have gotten damaged. I think I may have damaged my traffic.dll with the Beta FSX GA traffic app. I should of known better it did say beta.:( Any GA setting over 3 will crash my computer and I get a traffic.dll error sometimes no mater what GA setting I set it to even off will crash it.
January 16, 200719 yr Thanks It still will not do what I want but got the problem fixed. It must be that in FSX you can't just grab files off the DVD's any more like in the other FS sims.

Just rename the suspect files so the FSX installeddoesn't find it and run the repair. Paul
