May 31, 20215 yr Hi, I am evaluating to buy AAO to use with Stream Deck XL. Does AAO have any impact on MSFS performance, as I read that previously simconnect had some negative impact on fps? Perhaps that has been already solved.
May 31, 20215 yr Commercial Member Hello, I would suggest trying trying the DEMO version first. It is available on the AxisAndOhs Weebly website. This is the fully featured app, the "demo" about it is that it will shut down after 20 minutes of operation and you have to restart it. That is by far the best way to find out how it impacts your setup. In general, SimConnect per se doesn't have any FPS impact. What it does to your sim depends entirely on what you do with it. If you use the API to inject AI Traffic, then the impact will be significant. If you use it to query a handful of simulator variables and push a button every now and then, you will never notice that it is there. Edited May 31, 20215 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
