it's been years still no long haul airliner

Not native MSFS plane, but great integration between Aerowinx PSX Boeing 747-400 and MSFS. https://aerowinx.com/board/index.php/topic,6860.0.html -
Seems like nice addon. Does it impact performance of MSFS?

Is there any manual or tutorial for VRI Bridge? Specifically, how do you "code" what shall be shown on the displays of the VRInsight MCP Combo II.

I asked once, right after the launch of Fenix A320, but need to ask again after all those patches before I buy it. How is its performance? Is it as smooth as PMDG? Is there a remote MCDU for iPad, like FBW has for their A32x? Thank you.

Finally tried Aerowinx PSX with MSFS and it is just incredible, in my opinion. Dont have to worry at all about performance in MSFS as it is used only as scenery generator. Gary has created an very simple smooth injector that just works and also works with vPilot (freq, transponder, pressure). «Fully» integrated with Simbrief through Simfest (also developed by Gary), BACARS, etc Perhaps only limitation is weather depicted in PSX might not reflect what you see visually in MSFS, but that boils down to that CB that is painted in red on PSX wx radar But PSX downloads METAR, and NG FMC addon even SIGMETS (dont own the NG FMC yet). So all in all no big issue, for me. And yes, it does not have Virtual Cockpit, so that might be dealbreaker for someone The depth of PSX sim is astounding though. Yes, it is expensive, but when I summed all the money I spent on various MSFS add-ons it is not horrifying. Recommend it highly. Now I need to buy that NG FMC addon.

Thank you so much!

I am struggling to set up Behringer X-touch mini to control NAV in LeonardoSH Maddog. I am trying to set up an rotary knobs to dial up/down frequencies. For NAV radio I want to dial up/down Mhz and when short pressing the rotary knob to switch to kHz. For NAV radios In AAO I entered 16384·(>L:NAV1_event,number) and 8192·(>L:NAV1_event,number) for rotary up/down and it changes MHz. I made the same for kHz using 16385 and 8193. But I have no clue how to make AAO understand that when I press the button it should then change only kHz, and when poressed again only MHz, etc. Any ideas on how to make script for this? I found in the Interior.xml of the maddog following event for NAV1, if this helps. <PartInfo> <Name>NAV1_knob1</Name> <AnimLength>100</AnimLength> <Animation> <Parameter> <Code>(L:NAV1_knob1, enum)</Code> </Parameter> </Animation> <MouseRect> <Cursor>Hand</Cursor> <MouseFlags>LeftSingle+RightSingle+WheelUp+WheelDown</MouseFlags> <CallbackCode> (M:Event) 'WheelUp' scmi 0 == if{ 16384 0 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } (M:Event) 'WheelDown' scmi 0 == if{ 8192 0 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } (M:Event) 'LeftSingle' scmi 0 == if{ 8192 0 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } (M:Event) 'RightSingle' scmi 0 == if{ 16384 0 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } </CallbackCode> </MouseRect> </PartInfo> <PartInfo> <Name>NAV1_knob2</Name> <AnimLength>100</AnimLength> <Animation> <Parameter> <Code>(L:NAV1_knob2, enum)</Code> </Parameter> </Animation> <MouseRect> <Cursor>Hand</Cursor> <MouseFlags>LeftSingle+RightSingle+WheelUp+WheelDown</MouseFlags> <CallbackCode> (M:Event) 'WheelUp' scmi 0 == if{ 16384 1 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } (M:Event) 'WheelDown' scmi 0 == if{ 8192 1 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } (M:Event) 'LeftSingle' scmi 0 == if{ 8192 1 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } (M:Event) 'RightSingle' scmi 0 == if{ 16384 1 + (>L:NAV1_event,number) } </CallbackCode> </MouseRect> </PartInfo>

Thank you. Regarding numbers, here are some examples that leave me totally confused 🙂 Scripts for Flythemaddog that I found on Flightsim.to: - AP_althold_toggle script contains following: 536870912·18·+·(>L:fgcp_event,number) - AP_ap_master_TOGGLE: 536870912·19·+·(>L:fgcp_event,number) For FBW: Baro inc is defined as: 1·(>K:KOHLSMAN_INC) By numbers I mean, for example where does 536870912 come from, or how do I know what number to use? Likewise for 18, 19, etc. And perhaps totaly noob question, why 1 before (>K:KOHLSMAN_INC)? Again, sorry for being totally green here.

Is there any step-by-step tutorial for making scripts for AAO in MSFS? I have read the manual, looked into existing scripts, etc. but feel still clueless. For example, where do all those various numbers, used in scripts, come from? 🙂 Apologies if I ask dumb question.

Any plans for making overhead panel for flythemaddog?
-
Before I press buy button, anyone know if there is a template/scripts for Behringer x-touch mini? Tried Flightsim.to and google, but could not find any. Thanks.

Does experimental version of the FBW include missed approaches? Tried but cannot see that MCDU has them.

FBW vs. Fenix for Casual Airbus Flyer
JU108 replied to PilotPete99's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Thank you FBW for your hard and excellent work. If it was not for FBW (and WT), I would not be using MSFS. I bought another study level airliner sim, but yet I find myself using FBW. Great work. -
Does the AAO provide similar solution for Flythemaddog as it does for PMDG737/CJ4, or is it planned? I am quite hooked on your great solutions for the Web FMC 🙂 Thanks.
