New user - Ptt issue

Featured Replies

Hi guys, still new to p2a and still in demo mode at the moment but only issue I seem to have is setting my Ptt button. I have a few Leo bodnar boards all with the same name in Windows joystick dialog, BU0836A, I have 2 of these, one is the USB throttle quadrant and the other is a custom made yoke with my Ptt button.

If I try and setup my yoke Ptt button #3 and click set / save all is fine, but once I close the window it always reverts back to BUO836a button 11 which is actually the throttle. Seems it's having a hard time saving with the Yoke Usb so instead I've had to temporarily setup a mouse click for now. Am I missing something or is there another work around to have on the actual yoke?

Also only other I would like is so chatter to make it more realistic, is there a add-on I can use for p3d v5 and finally, does p2a accept mayday calls with vectors to nearest?

Sounds like the PTT problem is with the names.  P2A uses the joystick name to remember the device, so if all the devices have the same name, when it sets up the button on start, it sets it up on the first device Windows passes it named BU0836A.  If you can change the name of the yoke device, it should work.

X-ATC Chatter can provide  the chatter you're looking for.  There are instructions on how to set up the files in the P2A Operations Guide.
