Hi guys, just took off from egph heading to lfpg. I loaded my flight plan, I asked to copy ifr clearance, pushback, startup taxi etc all went well. I got in the air and tower said " frequency change approved" I didn't ask for a frequency change and wasn't given a frequency to connect too. 

Do I have to manually find the Freq for Scottish centre and then request something else or have I missed a step?

I validated and filed my flight plan

I'll try again tonight, but 100% sure it was set at the top as IFR flight. Maybe I didn't set something right
