Something happening with Real traffic?

Featured Replies

Hi,

just finished my first flight for 5 days.. it was EFHK-ESSA, FBW A320N Finnair livery

AI traffic was quite plentiful already in EFHK ( part of Finnair flights were called Westbird, numbers right) but planes had "default" livery. After the 44min flight I landed in Arlanda and SAS planes ( 5) had SAS liveries!!

OK. I have SAS livery also in my library as I have Finnair liveries and a dozen others..

So there ( in ESSA) was also a flight ESTxxxx which had def livery ( green annd orange).

seems to go purely random now, if you ask me, it just puts on some livery you happen to have installed.

it will be some wait before good ai traffic will be there.

Live traffic looks for a matching airplane model in your files, if it has the correct icao model code, it will load that, if it finds a livery for that aircraft with the correct ICAO Airline code, it will load that (most of the time, it will occasionally hiccup and load the wrong livery).

If it can't find either of those it will load a generic model with a random livery. If you have a generic model with a correct livery with icao airline code it will load the livery.

I personally set the A320 Neo to be considered Generic by the sim, so nearly every twin engine airliner will load the A320 model, and since I downloaded nearly every livery from the Mega Pack, I'll get correct liveries a lot of times (if the author put in the correct ICAO code).

It's just a temporary measure until Asobo or a third party releases more AI models.
