MSFS 1.17.3.0 Aerosoft CRJ: "Could not detect aircraft..."

Featured Replies

Since the latest update of MSFS (1.17.3.0) the Aerosoft CRJ is no longer recognized. MCE is the latest version also (2.9.23). Reload MSFS as advised, but no success!

No need to re-start the sim.

When that happens, just re-start MCE.

Please read "Using MCE with MSFS 2020" doc in order to understand why th Aerosoft CRJ needs to be the plane MSFS loads on startup and not start MCE until aircraft is on tarmac ready to fly.

Just in case, here is the link to the patch

Simco64_Ldr.exe should be V2.0.0.0.6

Hello Gerald,

thanks for you fast reply. I have done as adviced. Simco64_Ldr.exe IS the Version mentioned. At the moment, also the FBW A320 (newest development version) is not recognized by MCE. Every time MSFS gets an update i keep my fingers crossed all add-ons are compatible :-(. Back to X-Plane at the moment!

You're welcome.

The FlyByWire stable version (V0.6.1) is the preferred. FO can control pretty much anything.

With Dev version, adjustments are needed all the time.

For instance, no-go with hydraulic panel switches on Dev version, when Fo can control them in stable version, just as an example.

The patch has just been updated. Please re-download and replace both "mce.exe" and "Simco64_Ldr.exe"

The FlyByWire should definitely be identified unless you're using a specific livery that doesn't want to play, in which case tell us where you downloaded it from.

Hello Gerald,

just to let you know: fsuipc-lvar-module was not present in the community folder. That was the culprit. Maybe, FSUIPC 7 uninstalled it before... who knows - now all is working again. Thank you for your helpful advises.

When FSUIPC is  uninstalled, It removes the wasm module from the community folder. I am not sure why this happens, but it certainly causes confusion. If you download the module from  the official fsuipc website, That also does not work properly. It has to be the module that comes with MCe installation.
