Will my PC work with P3Dv5 and the addons listed below?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! I've got a new PC with these specs on the way:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650Ti
Intel i5-10300
8GB DDR4 RAM
1TB M.2 SSD

I'm just curious, I'm open to spending but will things like ActiveSky, ORBx Global, Aerosoft and PMDG products work on my setup?

With 4GB VRAM it will be a tight race in running it smooth with some considerable visuals. P3D v5 (with all the addons) would require a minimum of 6GB VRAM (8GB or more recommended). Of course you might be able to run it with lower settings, but honestly if you are not seeing good visuals its not that worth it, so you will have to compromise with lower quality visuals. P3D 4.5 would be the best for you.

You'll be much better off with 16 gb ram and 8 on that video card. Ram is easy and cheap to add.

If possible, increase RAM to 16 GB. Make sure it's dual channel. In my laptop, going from single to dual channel did wonders to my performance. In my desktop I have the same GPU as yours. No complaints at all in v4.5.

I'll re-emphasize what others said -- a 1650ti only has 4GB vram, you will want an 8 gb vram card.

Also I agree, 16gb system ram is much better, and that's relatively cheap.
