Is there anyway to rework the ALT key so that it operates like it did in FS9. (so that you dont have to hold it down to remove the menu. I use a programable keypad and can't program a hold position. Thanks Chuck

Since you couldn't remove the menu anyway in FS9, it is certainly no worse that what you had.Gary

I was speaking of hideing the menu when in full screen. In FSX you have to hold down the Alt key where as in FS9 you only had to tap the Alt key to hide the menu bar. The key pad I have will send any chain of commands I program with only one keystroke but it will not program holding down a key for several seconds.Chuck

Can you not program it to sent Alt - Alt - Alt - Alt enough times to trigger the "toolbar hide" function?Or, faliing that, send a rightmouse click / Hide Menu Bar?
