I’ve found a few default airports in P3D v5.x don’t appear until the Scenery Complexity is set to Very Dense. This was not a problem in v4 where they did. There are probably loads. Whether it’s a bug or policy who knows.

One example is MUHA. Can you try it and report back either here or on my P3D post at LM.

P3D v5.2 stock install, no addons:

At MUHA no airport buildings show until Very Dense or above selected in Scenery Complexity.

 

P3D v4.5 stock install, no addons:

At MUHA no airport buildings show until Normal or above selected in Scenery Complexity.

Thanks Steve. Do you consider that an enhanced feature or a bug. I had the same problem at a remote airport in Canada a month or so ago and made a mental note to investigate.

It’s especially weird when you have GSX and their custom jetways appear in glorious isolation.

All I know is that v5 scenery is different to v4 and about twice the disk space. Probably an error in the new scenery defining the amount of buildings on show for the setting.

Steve, if anything you’d expect to see more with the same setting. The fact you see less has to be an error.

Strange it wasn’t picked up in development or testing. Hopefully someone from LM will respond.
