For example, when you step on each brake pedal, does the associated white bar start all the way on the left (i.e., zero) and increase smoothly all the way to the right as you increase brake pressure, and then return smoothly all the way back to the left as you release brake pressure? Or does the white bar jump from one extreme to the other, etc? Does the white bar representing the rudder start in the middle and move left and right from there as you push on the left and right rudder pedals? Please describe the behavior of the white axes bars as you push on the pedals. Thx, Al The rudder shows normal ops,the brakes start at lower left side at zero, then jump to 50%,then go smoothly to 100% on upper right. If you haven't, you could try the Win10 Registry fix -- see info I posted for Dalton0190 at the end of page 2 of this thread. If I had this problem: Next I would make sure to delete ALL Saitek Rudder profiles using the Preset Manager (bottom of the Options page) toolbar and then define a new Rudder Pedal profile. If that didn't fix things, the next thing I would try is to delete any surviving MSFS Rudder pedal profiles in the wgs folder located at C:\Users\your -own-name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs (this path assumes a standard MS Store install of MSFS2020. If you bought MSFS via Steam or have a non-standard install location, do a search for the wgs folder). I would first make a backup copy of the wgs folder like this (copy and paste): Then, if you open the wgs folder you will find something like this: If you open the folder with the 'long ugly' name you will find something like this: When opened, each of these folders may either be empty, or contain two files, a container file with jibberish, and one with another 'long ugly' number name. If you open that 'long ugly' file with a text editor like Notepad or Notepadd++, you will find it is either empty, contains compiled jibberish, or contains a readable controller profile something like the below Saitek Rudder profile. Note the <FriendlyName> and DeviceName = in the third and fourth lines at the top of the file. Although tedious, I would check each of the folders for a Saitek Rudder profile and delete each folder that contains a readable Saitek Rudder profile. Then I would start up MSFS and try defining a new profile for the Saitek Rudder Pedals. If things get messed up, delete the bad wgs folder and rename the backed up wgs-copy folder back to just wgs. I'm now about out of ideas. If anyone reading all this has some ideas, please feel free to jump into the fray. Al Edited July 13, 20214 yr by ark

So if I understand correctly, the brakes, etc, all worked fine after the Win10 reinstall until you uninstalled the PMDG DC-6. And now, after the DC-6 uninstall, the rudder pedal brakes still work OK, but the Thrust Master controller does not? If that is correct, it seems the DC-6 uninstall is uninstalling more that it should somehow. You could try reinstalling the DC-6 and see what happens. BTW, why install and then uninstall the DC-6? Maybe the message is once the DC-6 is installed, it is best to leave it installed! 😉 Al Edited July 14, 20214 yr by ark
July 14, 20214 yr Author The brakes are Borked again, and I see something different in the MS2020 sensitivity's,the white dot starts in upper right now,and then moves to lower left. On my TM Airbus throttles, the white dot now moves normally from upper right down to 50%,and then shoots from 50 to max instantly. July 14, 20214 yr Author I think I fixed the issue with the rudders by resetting to default, and by not calibrating in windows, don't know if this will be problematic, but the brakes seemed ok in the sim. Now on to troubleshooting the TM airbus throttle issue,I uninstalled the driver in device manager, but windows keeps installing on reboot, the set device to default didn't work with the throttle,I have a Saitak X52 hooked up,and that throttle works normally. September 18, 20223 yr Thank you! That is the toe break trick. Clear calibration with the .reg file then don't touch anything. Fire up the sim and all is normal. It seems joy.cpl in Windows wants to split the break axes in half and make it "X +/-" instead or one axes "X". Luckily MSFS knows better and used the full axes.
